1. Use this ipk repository:

6. opkg install http://www.opkg.org/packages/xboard_4.2.7_armv4t.ipk

On OM2008.12 I obtain, via ssh:

Warning: Unable to load any usable fontset
xboard: Error writing to first chess program: Broken pipe
xboard: Failed to start first chess program gnuchessx on localhost: gnuchessx: No such file or directory

PS: and no xboard.desktop is created.

PPS: I installed, some days ago, on a different OM2008.12, the previous version of you packet (if I remember correctly) and it worked perfectly!

On SHR Testing I get this error when I launch xboard from the terminal:
