why a new media player instead helping an other one?? we have 4+ media player, and no one work perfectly!

(sorry)

You should add libgio-2.0-0 as a dependence.
It's good, but I quote Pietrao.. Why another media player? IMHO Intone was enough...

Hi, nice app, works on my Freerunner (om2008.12), a search button/ slider would be nice (good for podcasts)

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, yet another music player! :-) IMO all existing player for the OM either do not work, are slow, are just mplayer frontends and/or are not finger friendly. I personally want an interface that is as simple as possible. No typing and no playlist management.

Stay tuned for the next release... or just ignore this player and use Intone. :-)

Hi, it's perfect, it's working (finally), I'm happy to find it! Thanks! (OM2008.12)

I think, this player looks very promising.
Is there a way to display embedded cover art (from ID3-Tag)?

elhennig wrote: (2009-04-29 15:56:10)
One more comment: The CPU usage is quite high compared to intone and mplayer respectively. For the same MP3 file fingertier uses 50% CPU while mplayer only uses 10%.

@elhennig:
sry, no embedded cover art support yet (0.1.0).

I currenty use Gstreamer Playbin2. A custom Gstreamer audio pipeline would probably be more efficient. Patches are welcome :)

if i click on play or some other button it just freezes...this sucks pretty much, as no other player works for me right now. :(
