notifier

This is a simple python application to remind you if you loose some call. It's really basic with no spectacular features.

Version 0.2
* new scripts to start, more clean
* added a try/catch to get the frameworkd dbus

Actually notifier is in the shr repos

Good idea, it rules! (testing on shr unstable 2/05/09)

Great idea, maybe it needs to be apart of the distro

Yeah, they should really add it to the distro!

i tried to add a clock but i didnt succed; im not too good in python, but perhaps someone could hack that in :)

sC, actually a clock shouldn't be useful because the window will only show when a call is missed or an sms arrives. Moreover the clock is in the shelf, i'm quite comfortable with that.

Well i thoght about it as a *real* today screen that gives you all the information you need, e.g. adding dates etc on it and running it fullscreen.

this would be great if it could be added to the top bar of illume - it's such a small app, it only needs to occupy a small area

maybe you should merge your efforts with this project... http://www.opkg.org/package_220.html#

a home (eg. today) screen would be really great.. IMHO it should be the first and only thing displayed after login to enlightment.. apps appear after pushing "home" button or something else...

thx for your work..

well thanks for all the comments, this script i have done is only for missed call, it's not intended to be a real today, wrote in one night when i really got bored in checking phonelog sistematically.

I'm now involved in shr and we are rewriting ophonekitd to get more functionalities including something like this.
I hope that the new ophonekitd will get everything we need and we will finally got a phone who can win a comparison with a 30 nokia (phone apps speaking) :D

Thanks!
