installed all but still get error

is this package still available? I get:
Failed to download http://www.opkg.org/packages/pingus_*.ipk, error 404

when trying to install it.

I still have the packages available at http://3v8.net/~sander/openmoko

However, as with all binary packages here, they were built at a certain point in time, which might become incompatible with the latest distributions at any moment. I'm still waiting for OpenEmbedded to merge the recipe, so it can stay in sync with the distro.

That said, my package does not (yet) have the auto-rotate-to-landscape convenience script that Dolf added, so you should try his packages first.

I am currently working on a more generic solution, to have the recipe include the auto-rotate-to-landscape option for GTA0x devices while not affecting other OpenEmbedded supported platforms (which might not be portrait or 640x480)

I can't seem to get rid of the top shelf in OM2009.1 in illume.

its in SHR repros so you will not need the external link if using SHR

I tried to install it in SHR with
opkg install pingus.

It installs fine but then when I open it, it immediately closes.

I am using the latest SHR Testing.

Any ideas?

Just got a feedback from the pingus maintainer.

"It affects all fullscreen SDL applications. It has something to do with the new xrandr support (max dimensions not correct after xrandr rotate). Only solution right now is, as you found out, to run in windowed mode..."

"I might update the ipk on my own server though, if I find time."

I hope he will, pingus is really a great game.

This functioned for me, in order to install pingus on SHR-T;

With the first start pingus missed the file "~/.pingus/savedgames/savedgames.scm"; this can be copied from the local computer on the openmoko.And everything becomes good (I thnk).
